The Cecchetti Council of America is committed to raising the standards of the art of teaching ballet and works diligently to provide teacher members with the latest information and reference materials. The CCA encourages member teachers to enhance and refresh their teaching skills and offers numerous training opportunities across the country.
CCA teachers who attend these training sessions are continually updated on syllabus changes, current on grade level expectations, and informed of proper exam procedures. Teachers strengthen their ability to develop the dancer technically and artistically through the method. The CCA and its regional committees offer numerous Teacher Refreshers and Ballet Days as well as an Annual Summer International Teachers’ Course.
