Competition Mission Statement
The mission of the Cecchetti Council of America Classical Ballet Competition is to support and develop dancers of all economic, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds by providing education, performance, and scholarship opportunities. The CCA competition serves as part of the international network of dance through its affiliation with the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet organization.
The Cecchetti Council of America is holding a classical ballet competition in conjunction with the CCA Ballet Festival on February 10-11, 2024. Eligible participants will be able to compete for the opportunity to represent CCA at the Cecchetti International Ballet Competition (CICB) in Holland, Michigan in July, 2024.
The competition will have classical soloists, contemporary soloists, and group categories. The classical and contemporary soloist categories have a petite, junior, and senior division.
