CCA Open Competition
Competition Mission Statement
The mission of the Cecchetti Council of America Open Competition is to support and develop dancers of all economic, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds by providing education, performance, and scholarship opportunities. The CCA competition serves as part of the international network of dance through its affiliation with the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet organization.
The competition will have classical soloists, contemporary soloists, and group categories. The classical and contemporary soloist categories have a petite, junior, and senior division. All participants will be competing for awards and scholarships. Students do not need to be Cecchetti trained to participate in the festival or open competition, and independent entries are accepted.
