About the Teacher’s Seminar

Teacher’s Seminar

We welcome all teachers to our seminar to explore, learn, and study the Cecchetti Method. Teachers can learn and share knowledge in a positive and friendly atmosphere provided by the CCA and Hope College. The seminar is devoted to the art of teaching, emphasizing developing technique, movement quality, body placement, and style.

The teachers’ faculty includes guest teachers from around the world, and CCA faculty from around the country, who believe the Cecchetti Syllabi is a strong and viable teaching methodology. The complete Cecchetti syllabi is offered to demonstrate the progression of the method, along with classes that specialize in teaching techniques, classes for the very young, free style, and classical variations.

The CCA Teacher’s Seminar will take place July 12-18, 2026

“My favorite part of the course was the comprehensive knowledge, expertise, and training excellence we received from the selected faculty members coupled with their willingness to go beyond words in the book and teach what’s not written from their own experiences”. – 2019 teacher attendee
