Carolyn TrythallMrs. Carolyn Dickerman Trythall, a well-respected teacher, Senior CCA Examiner, Liaison Officer, and dearest friend to so many passed away June 15, 2017. Carolyn founded the Lancaster School of Ballet in Pennsylvania where students learned more than good ballet technique and training.

As contributions are made to the Carolyn Trythall Scholarship fund, many notes and letters about Carolyn have touched our hearts. A quote from Lynn D. Millard states it perfectly: “Carolyn taught our girls more than just dance. Her goals of respect and independence and strength of character are traits our girls exemplify today. Her memorial service was standing room only; a true testament to her.”

Carolyn’s life has made a difference in the world. Her fellow examiners on the National Examining Board speak of her warm kindness and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all of us.
