Carolyn Judson Urso

Originally from California, Carolyn Judson Urso joined the Texas Ballet Theater in 2003, after training for two years at Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy. She has performed in title roles such as The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and JulietAlice in WonderlandCinderellaCleopatra and Swan Lake, all of which were choreographed by Ben Stevenson. In addition, she also worked with Twyla Tharp in her touring production of Come Fly Away, and with the Queensland Ballet, performing Ben Stevenson’s 3 Preludes. Carolyn retired in May of 2022, andcurrently teaches at Studio G in Grosse Ile and is a GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® instructor in Grosse Pointe, MI.  She is married and has two young children.

Martin Skocelas-Hunter

Martin Skocelas-Hunter

Martin began his training in Canton, Michigan primarily focusing on the Cecchetti Ballet syllabus. He went on to study Musical Theatre Performance at Western Michigan University, and most recently Dance Performance at Grand Valley State University. Martin has had the opportunity to work with and perform works created by Lizzie MacKenzie Pontarelli, Eddy Ocampo, Brian McSween, Calin Radulescu, Erica Fischback, Autumn Eckman, Becca Lemme, and Amy O’Neil. He has performed with the Grand Rapids Opera Company, Ballet Fleming, Brandywine Ballet, and Dance Del Bello, Arch Contemporary Ballet, Columbia City Ballet and Alabama Ballet. Martin is currently dancing with Palmetto City Ballet.
